“Ashwin later said sorry”- Riyan Parag opens up on ‘death stare’ to Ravichandran Ashwin

Riyan Parag and R Ashwin
In the recently concluded IPL 2022, fans weren’t much impressed by Rajasthan Royals’ Riyan Parag’s attitude on the field because every now and then, the 20-year-old was seen involving himself in controversies or displaying his ‘bad attitude”. He was being slammed on Twitter the moment he lashed out on something.
The IPL 2022 Qualifier 1 at Eden Gardens saw two teams, Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals. The latter batted first and added 188 runs but lost by seven wickets. But in the last over, when all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin and Parag were at the crease, something Parag did that made Twitter fans slam him. The last ball saw Parag leaving his crease to steal a single which he couldn’t complete because Ashwin didn’t leave his crease.
Wriddhiman Saha, the wicket-keeper had collected the ball and passed it to Yash Dayal, who then comfortably walked to remove the stumps. The emotions on Parag and Ashwin’s face showed that they got involved in an ugly mix-up and that Riyan Parag behaved badly with a senior player. Later, in a chat show, Parag explaied what actually happened at that time.
