On 22nd December, 2017, Rohit Sharma hit a 35-ball century against Sri Lanka at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Nagpur. His blistering innings saw 12 boundaries and 10 sixes, before he was dismissed for 118 runs.

That innings has now become a match sum, with the innings used in the “Relations and Functions”. The sum had listed down the 35-balls he played, listing down what he did on those deliveries. Students were asked to interpret the data as a relation, a function, an onto function and whether the data could be made into a one-to-one function.

He is the next MS Dhoni. He has done well. He has been giving a lot of chances to youngsters the way MS Dhoni did. I played a lot of cricket under MS Dhoni. Sourav Ganguly supported his team a lot. Then MS Dhoni came and led from the front. Rohit is going in the right direction. He is a brilliant captain.
