They also set the record for most consecutive losses before winning the first game of the season (9). As the season ends, stars tend to get back to their loved ones and enjoy some alone time as they gear up for the upcoming international fixtures. Rohit Sharma chose to fly to Maldives.
The 35 year who was recently made the captain of India in all formats, didn’t enjoy the best individual season either. In 14 games, Rohit Sharma could only manage 268 runs with his highest score being 48. Trying to get past the season and move forward, Rohit Sharma posted on Instagram with his wife and captioned, “This is all I need for the next few days…. ❤️???”.

Rohit Sharma is given rest ahead of the India’s T20 series with South Africa that will take begin on June 9th. However, the 5 time IPL winners is in the squad of India’s test team that will travel to England for the final test match on 1st July. Under Rohit Sharma, india levelled the record for most consecutive win in T20s at 12.
In his absence, India will be hoping that KL Rahul can lead the team to create a new record for most wins in T20s consecutively. Sharma will be hoping that he can come back stronger after his vacation with family. The Mumbai Indians’ skipper needs to get back in form ahead the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.
