“Not the first time he’s crossed 200”- Rohit Sharma given three challans for speeding on the Pune-Mumbai expressway
Rohit Sharma was going above the speeds of 200kmph on the Pune-Mumbai expressway, touched speeds of 215 kmph.

As Pune prepares to host its first 2023 ICC ODI World Cup fixture, Indian Captain Rohit Sharma has gotten in trouble with the Traffic Police. The Indian captain has not traveled with the Indian team and decided to travel on his own from Mumbai to Pune.
Pune Mirror has reported that Rohit Sharma has been issued three challans for over-speeding on the Pune-Mumbai expressway. According to Pune Mirror, Rohit Sharma crossed speeds of 200 kmph and had reached the speed of 215 kmph. Rohit traveled in his Lamborghini, in which the number plate ended with his highest score.
According to Pune Mirror, some of their sources in the Pune Police were unhappy with Rohit’s reckless driving. They preferred it if he traveled with the Indian team in their bus along with a police escort.
India will face Bangladesh on 19th October in the MCA Stadium, Pune. It will be the first Multinational tournament match it will host since being built in 2012. Bangladesh could go into the match without captain Shakib Al Hassan due to an injury while India have a fully fit squad and are at the top of the group stage.

Fans request Rohit Sharma to drive responsibly
Rohit Sharma had reportedly crossed speeds of 200 multiple times. Fans were not surprised as the 37-year-old has scored 3 double centuries in ODIs and one in Test Cricket. They joked on how he was used to going 200+ and they have seen it multiple times.
While some fans joked around, some were serious and requested the Indian captain to drive safe. Many said they didn’t want any accidents to happen like Indian keeper, Rishabh Pant, who had a dangerous accident in December 2022.

Rohit Sharma has been in good form so far in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup. Despite getting out for a duck against Australia, he scored 131 against Afghanistan and 86 against Pakistan. As India plays their 4th match of the World Cup, Rohit aims to play another great knock.
