Rohit Sharma recently featured on Kapil Sharma’s new Netflix show called “The Great Indian Kapil Show”. He was joined by fellow Indian and Mumbai batter, Shreyas Iyer, and the trio talked about various things. 

In the episode, Kapil Sharma asked the Indian captain if there was any player he would not want to share rooms with. Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer explained that the players are now given single rooms and no one share rooms anymore, but Sharma still answered the question.

Do log hai. Ek hai Shikhar Dhawan aur ek hai Rishabh Pant. Nahi karna chahunga bhai. Bade gande hai. (There are two people. One is Shikhar Dhawan and one is Rishabh Pant. I would not share with them. They are very dirty. 
Rohit Sharma said

He explained how Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant would throw their clothes in the room after practice without even cleaning them. Sharma also explained how their rooms are always on DND (Do not disturb), because when they sleep, it causes the housekeeping in hotels to never clean the room.

Rohit Sharma surprised by fans’ reaction after 2023 World Cup final loss 

On 19th November, 2023, India lost to Australia in the 2023 ODI World Cup finals. After winning all matches they played, their only loss came in the final as they lost by six wickets. Rohit Sharma admitted that he expected a lot of hate and abuse from fans after the loss, but was surprised with how appreciative they were.

I thought people would be quite upset, people would be disappointed. But, wherever I went after the World Cup final, people appreciated the way we played in the tournament.
Rohit Sharma said

Archana Puran Singh, who is a judge in the show, praised Sharma for his contribution in the tournament. She added that despite not winning the World Cup, the Indian team won their hearts, to which the crowd cheered as well.
