Sachin Tendulkar is regarded as one of the greatest cricketers to grace the game, playing 664 matches across all formats for India. Fans across the world love Tendulkar, often revered for his humble and kind personality towards fans. 

Recently, he was seen traveling on an Indigo flight. Many people on the flight realized the God of Cricket was traveling with them, and wasted no time in cheering for him. The passengers in the flights started chanting the iconic “Sachin, Sachin,” to which Tendulkar thanked the fans for their love.

Tendulkar is currently in Kashmir with his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, and daughter Sara Tendulkar. He posted a video of the view of his plane, calling it “the closest thing to heaven on earth”. He later uploaded a video of him trying out bats made by local Kashmir willow bat makers, discussing his old bats.

Sachin Tendulkar writes heartfelt note to Virat Kohli after birth of son

On 15th February, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had their 2nd child, and named him Akaay. They announced his birth on the 21st. Sachin Tendulkar wrote a note to Kohli, congratulating him for the birth of Akaay.

Kohli has called Tendulkar his idol, with the two sharing a special bond. In his autobiography, the 50-year old recalled the time Kohli tried gifting him a sacred thread given by his father during his final Test. Tendulkar had to refuse it, calling it priceless and instructing Kohli to keep it till his last breath.
