Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary cricketer turned 49 on Sunday, April 24. As he is the mentor for the Mumbai Indians franchise, he will stay in the bio-bubble for the 5-time champions, Mumbai Indians. Many cricketers have showered their wishes for the ‘God of Cricket’. And MI also did something special for him on his birthday.

Mumbai Indians shared a video of the young players of the franchise wishing Sachin Tendulkar for his birthday. These players were Hrithik Shokeen, Aryan Juyal, N Tilak Verma, Dewald Brevis and Rahul Buddhi and in the end his son Arjun Tendulkar.

“When I met him for the first time, I reached for his feet. But he stopped me and said, ‘Don’t do that. Don’t touch my feet’. But for me, he is God. I have been seeing him ever since I was a small child,” said Shokeen in the video.

“When he was giving me tips, I initially couldn’t even hear him because I was shocked that I was talking to him. After that I realized, that I should listen and not just gape at him in awe,” Shokeen further added.

In that same video, Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar’s special birthday wish won the internet.

He said: “I would like to wish you a very happy birthday. And, enjoy your day and thank you for everything you have done for me throughout my life,” he said.

Sachin Tendulkar has the greatest number of runs in Test, amassing 15,921 runs. He also has the record of most, 51, Test centuries. He is at the top of the list of most runs in ODI with 18,426 runs with 49 tons and 96 half-centuries.

The most historic milestone is his scoring 100 international tons. Also, for the first time, he had scored 200 in the 50-over format.
