“Saurav, Sehwag, Yuvraj have been dropped”- Twitter reacts as Virat Kohli gets out cheaply in 3rd T20I vs England

Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli once again failed to score runs in the third T20I against England at Trent Bridge. He scored just 11 runs and one run in the 2nd T20I. Now fans, even former cricketers can’t stop criticising him for his lean patch. They want him to get dropped or some are even saying: “Only injury can save him embarrasment”.
Virat Kohli started playing aggressively when he walked out to bat. Fans got dazzled by a four and a six but the next ball saw Kohli again taking long walk back to the dressing room. In the third over off David Wiley, Kohli stepped out against a length delivery and tried to hit it. But he failed and top-edged it and Jason Roy completed a straightforward catch.
“There was a time when you were out of form, you would be dropped irrespective of reputation. Sourav, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Zaheer, Bhajji all have been dropped when not in form. They have went back to domestic cricket, scored runs and staged a comeback,” tweeted Venkatesh Prasad that management needs to forget reputation.
“The yardsticks seem to have changed drastically now, where there is rest for being out of form. This is no way for progress. There is so much talent in the country and cannot play on reputation. One of India’s greatest match-winner, Anil Kumble sat out on so many occasions, need actions for the larger good,” he added.
Even former cricketer Virender Sehwag said that India has no many batsman who can get going from the start but the are ‘unfortunately’ sitting out.
