Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Yashaswi Jaiswal has been in some impeccable form in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Southpaw is getting better with every passing game and Jaiswal proved it with his performance against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday. The left-handed batter hit a 26-ball fifty as Rajasthan opted to bat first.

Jaiswal looked to score runs from the ball go as he hit CSK pacer Akash Singh for two consecutive boundaries on the first two deliveries he faced. The Southpaw continued the assault in Singh’s second over as well hitting three boundaries and a six. But the shot of the day from Jaiswal came against Ravindra Jadeja when the batter reverse swept the CSK spinner for a six over deep backward point.

Two deliveries later, Jaiswal punched a flatter delivery from Jadeja on a good length towards long on and ran a single to bring up his half-century off 26 balls. With Jaiswal continuing his merry run in IPL 2023 and outshining Jos Buttler, fans went crazy on social media. People could not hold themselves from praising the youngster for his clean hitting and dominating the bowlers.

While Yashaswi Jaiswal continues to wow everyone with his intent and consistency in IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals’ second opener, Jos Buttler is struggling to score runs this season. Barring a couple of innings, Buttler has not looked like his usual self. While on a few occasions, he has got out cheaply, Buttler has failed to convert the starts on other occasions. The latter was the case against CSK.

After scoring over 20 runs, Buttler perished to Jadeja as he tried to accelerate. The swashbuckling batter handed a simple catch to Shivam Dube at long-on.
