Shubman Gill took to Twitter to ask world’s richest man Elon Musk to buy Swiggy so that they could improve their food delivery. Swiggy is also one of the sponsors of this year’s IPL. Notably Elon Musk has been in the news for buying Twitter.

He captioned the post with: “Elon musk, please buy swiggy so they can deliver on time.”

Meanwhile Shubman Gill is playing for Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans franchise. Gujarat Titans are on the top of the points table with only a single defeat in their 9 matches. They were previously defeated by Kane Williamson-led Sunrisers Hyderabad. But in their 2nd time face off, Gujarat Titans were able to thrash Hyderabad by 5 wickets in a thrilling match. It was all because of the brilliant game played by Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan.

Following the victory, Shubman Gill took to his official Instagram handle and posted a picture of the match and captioned it with: “Call Gujarat Titans for entertainment,” with a winking emoji.

Former legendary cricketer Yuvraj Singh then pulled Shubman Gill’s legs and replied with: “Very entertaining you shot was,” with a furrowed eyebrows emoji. Because in that same match, Shubman Gill had played a knock of just 22 runs in 24 balls as an opening batsman. He was bowled out by Umran Malik who also scalped 5 wickets in that match.

Even though GT thrashed Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings with the help of Shubman Gill’s 84 and 96 in their previous matches, Shubman Gill’s scores in last four games read 13, 0, 7 and 22 and this worrying for the Titans.

“GT’s batting is looking a little weak to be very honest. Shubman Gill had two good knocks but his performance has dipped after that, which is not good. He is due for runs.”
