Gujarat Titans (GT) opening batter Shubman Gill played a knock for the ages as his team took on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their last league game of IPL 2023. Gill scored an unbeaten 104* off just 52 balls and helped his team chase 198. With this win, GT eliminated RCB from IPL 2023 and helped Mumbai Indians (MI) qualify for the knockout stage and Sachin Tendulkar was thankful for that.

Earlier, Cameron Green had also played a gem of a knock. The MI all-rounder scored a 47-ball century and helped his team chase down 201 with ease. Notably, Green was bought for a whopping price of 17.25 CR at the IPL 2023 mini auction by the five-time champions.

Mumbai to lock horns with Lucknow in Eliminator

As the Rohit Sharma-led team has qualified for the IPL 2023 Playoffs, the five-time champions will lock horns with Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator. The two teams will take on each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on 24 May. It is worth mentioning that MI have never won against LSG in IPL history so far.
In the three games between the two teams so far, LSG have won all of them. The recent one was played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow wherein the Rohit Sharma-led team could not chase down 178 and lost the match by 5 runs. So, it will be interesting to see how far MI go in the playoffs.
