England’s veteran pacer Stuart Broad was left disappointed after Australian media called his teammate Ollie Robinson the “No.1 villain”. Broad expressed his displeasure after Fox Cricket used the No.1 villain tag for Robinson. The 36-year-old was left unhappy with the fact that he is not the number one villain for Australia anymore.
Ollie Robinson has been getting attention from all corners but for all the wrong reasons. The pacer has been under scrutiny for his abusive send-off to Usman Khawaja in Australia’s first inning. While the likes of Ricky Ponting and Ian Healy have openly called out Robinson for his disrespect towards Khawaja, the Australian media is leaving no stone unturned to portray the Englishman as a villain.
After Australia defeated England in the first Ashes Test by two wickets, Fox Sports took a dig at Robinson. “No. 1 villain Ollie Robinson has learned his fate over an expletive-laden send-off for Usman Khawaja,” tweeted the media outlet. Soon, the post reached Broad who was ready to give it back.
“‘No1 Villain?!’ I can’t have lost that tag already can I?! Disappointing,” replied Broad to Fox Sports.
Fans suggest Stuart Broad ways to regain his tag

This hilarious response from Stuart Broad attracted quite a few reactions from the fans. While a few said that the pacer had lost it already when he played in the Big Bash, a few revealed how Broad can regain his lost tag. A fan suggested mankading Usman Khawaja when the two teams meet at Lord’s next week.

Although Broad might have lost his ‘villain’ tag, the pacer is still hurting the Aussies with his potent bowling. The 36-year-old claimed a total of six wickets in the first Ashes Test which included dismissing Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne in the second inning.
