Superstar Rajinikanth feels BAD seeing Kavya Maran SAD during SRH’s games, requests her father to buy good players

Kavya Maran is the CEO of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Whenever SRH play their matches, Kavya rarely misses the matches from the stand at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, and the camera loves to focus a lot on her. It’s her always-changing moods during the matches and her expressions that go viral and become headlines.

SRH is owned by Sun Network owner Kalanithi Maran who is the father of Kavya. Over the last two years, fans are seeing an upset Kavya in the stands due to which, superstar Rajinikanth requested Kalanithi to buy good players in the team because he feels bad seeing Kavya upset on the TV.

“Kalanithi Maran should put good players in Sunrisers Hyderabad team. I feel bad seeing Kavya like that on TV during the IPL,” Rajinikanth said during the launch of his upcoming movie ‘Jailer’.

In the 2023 IPL season, the Orange Army did badly as they could manage just four wins from 14 matches and ended up at the bottom of the points table. Though the team has big names, like Harry Brook, and Aiden Markram, their team lacked balance.

Why did SRH do badly in the 2023 IPL?

SRH have won a trophy in IPL 2016 under David Warner‘s captaincy and finished as runners-up in IPL 2018 under Kane Williamson‘s captaincy. These two players were also the driving force the behind team’s success. But SRH has parted ways with both players after their slump in form. 

Another major mistake was not retaining Rashid Khan who is unarguably one of the best T20 players in the world right now. He now plays for the Gujarat Titans (GT) and played an important role in helping the team lift the cup in their maiden season in 2022. The constant chopping and changing has made the team unstable which is why SRH has been producing lackluster matches.
