Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina kicked off a new inning of his life on Friday as he announced the opening of his restaurant in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Raina, who is fond of cooking has started a new restaurant chain called Raina- Culinary Treasures of India. The former cricketer announced the news on social media.
“Drumroll, please! Get ready for a culinary explosion like never before! I am absolutely ecstatic to introduce Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam, where my passion for food and cooking takes center stage!” announced Raina.
The former India cricketer claimed that each dish at the Raina Indian Restaurant tells a story and “every bite is a celebration of Indian heritage”.
“What sets Raina apart is not just the food, but the unwavering commitment to quality, creativity, and utmost delight in every dish we serve. We take immense pride in showcasing the depth and variety of Indian cuisine, prepared with love, precision, and a dash of my personal touch,” said the cricketer.
Virat Kohli promises to visit Suresh Raina’s restaurant soon

As the former India cricketer embarked on this new journey, wishes poured in from all corners. India’s batting stalwart Virat Kohli also extended his wishes to Raina and promised to visit the restaurant when he visits Amsterdam next time.
“Well done bro @sureshraina3. Congratulations and next time we are in Amsterdam, we will definitely come over,” promised Virat Kohli.

Not just Kohli but other cricketers also extended their wishes to Raina. Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh also promised to eat at Raina’s restaurant. The other prominent names to congratulate Raina were Deepak Chahar, Saina Nehwal, Dwayne Bravo, and Kuldeep Yadav.
