The 3rd T20I between India and South Africa saw a great performance from India, drawing the series. After the first match was called off due to rain, India lost the 2nd and needed to win the 3rd.

Suryakumar Yadav’s incredible century, followed by a five wicket haul by Kuldeep Yadav ensured India a win. Yadav needed to be taken off the field in the 2nd innings after twisting his ankle, by being picked up by two of his teammates.

After the win, the team went and sat in the bus. As everyone was getting seated, a fan noticed something through the window of the bus. The Indian captain was limping and looked in a foul mood. He then later looked at Arshdeep Singh and started scolding him, pointing his finger.

Yadav, who is often known for his humorous attitude, looked angry for the first time. Many were not sure if he was serious while scolding Arshdeep or if he was joking. He won the Man of the Match for his century and Man of the Series as well.

Arshdeep Singh picks up first ODI fifer

Many people were unsure of India’s pace attack during the 1st ODI, which included Arshdeep SIngh, Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan. Despite these doubts, India bowled out South Africa for only 116 runs.

India breathed fire from the start, with South Africa losing their first 6 wickets within the first 12 overs. Captain KL Rahul kept an attacking mindset which helped his bowlers pick up wickets as well. Arshdeep was the leading man, picking up his first ever international fifer. Avesh Khan meanwhile picked up 4 and Kuldeep Yadav got one.

India chased down the target with ease. Debutant Sai Sudarshan scored a half-century off 41 balls, while Shreyas Iyer and Ruturaj Gaikwad were the only players to be dismissed. India will now play the 2nd ODI in the St George’s Park, Gqeberha. Iyer will leave the Indian ODI team to prepare for the Test series.
