A few days are left for the mega event to start in Australia. The eighth edition of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will commence on October 16 and end on November 13. A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament.

While eight teams will play in the Qualifying rounds from October 16, the Super 12s will commence on October 22. The Super 12s consist of the top-eight teams already qualified for this stage. The bottom eight groups, which will play in the Qualifying rounds, are divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 12s stage.

But ahead of the start of the tournament, each team will clash against for warm-up matches, starting on October 10. Only the already qualified teams will participate in these warm-up matches. India will play two warm-ups: against Australia and New Zealand.

India vs New Zealand

Date: October 19th

Venue: Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, Brisbane
