“Takkar maar du kya?”- Rishabh Pant’s hilarious chat with Rohit Sharma caught in mic stump
Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant
Team India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant is known for his hilarious comments from behind the stump mics. He keeps the audience entertained with those comment and something similar happened on Saturday, July 9 in the second T20I between India and England at Edgbaston, in Birmingham.
Pant is jolly in nature but he has joined by India captain Rohit Sharma with the savage comments during that match. This happened shortly after Rishabh Pant came out to open the innings with Rohit Sharma because Ishan Kishan was dropped from the second T20I.
The 24-year-old Pant almost got dismissed from a run-out when he nudged the ball towards silly mid-off and ran to complete the single. But while running, David Wiley came in his way. When Pant completed the run, he was heard telling his captain on the stump mics, “Saamne aa gaya tha, takkar maar du kya? (He came in the way, should I push him?”
And the captain came up with an equal savage reply, “Maar de aur kya (Yes, of course, push him away).

“The only red flag I see”- Rohit Sharma on the caution for India
Meanwhile, when India was asked to bat, the openers Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant started well before India lost some quick wickets. But Ravindra Jadeja’ knock of 46 helped team India’s score reach 170 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took care of the bowling department. Bumrah scalped three wickets while Bhuvneshwar completed his four wicket haul. They were able to bowled out England on 121.
