Mumbai Indians spinner Kumar Kartikeya met his family after a very long time. He left his some nine years ago to achieve success in cricket. When his dream came true, he finally went home and met his family. Earlier today, he shared a picture with his father on his social media handles. He had also shared a picture with his mother yesterday to announce his arrival at home.

Kumar Kartikeya was recently a part of Mumbai Indians uncapped squad which toured England for three weeks in July under the guidance of head coach Mahela Jayawardene.

Kumar Kartikeya’s story
Kartikeya’ success story is an emotional one. To stop being a budern on his family, he left home nine years ago to become a cricketer. He had to work in the factory and also, he hadn’t eaten lunch for a whole year to save Rs 10 for a pack of biscuits.
The hard work helped him make his debut in Ranji Trophy for Madhya Pradesh in 2018 and since then he found his ways. He even helped Madhya Pradesh win maiden Ranji Trophy this year. He debuted in the Indian Premier League this year and quite impressed with his bowling. He returned with the figures of 1/19. He had then mentioned about not meeting his family for a long time.
Yesterday, he shared a picture with his mother with the caption: “Met my family and mumma after 9 years 3 months. Unable to express my feelings”. See the post below:
