Tristan Stubbs makes debut for Mumbai, replaces Kieron Pollard vs CSK

Since Tymal mills has been ruled out of the remaining of IPL season, Tristan Stubbs has replaced his place.
The South African is making his debut IPL against Chennai Super Kings on Thursday, May 12 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. But in this match, he replaced Kieron Pollard on the playing XI. Another change is of Hrithik Shokeen replacing Murugan Ashwin. While there is no change in CSK.

“We will field first. It’s the nature of the ground and what suits our team. Looks a good track. Hope it plays well throughout the 40 overs. It’s brilliant to play against Chennai, it’s always like that. We need to try and win the game,” Rohit Sharma told Star Sports during the toss.
While CSK captain MS Dhoni said, “It [batting first] has worked for us. We are playing with the same team. When a lot of is at stake, you need to do the homework and focus on the process, irrespective of the opposition.”
Tristan Stubbs was signed in for INR 20 lakh. The 21-year-old is a wicket-keeper batsman. He has played 17 T20s and has scored 506 runs with three half-centuries at a strike rate of 157.14.
Talking about the match, Rohit Sharma-led MI won the toss and decided to bowl first.
