“Naseem Shah you BEAUTYYY”- Twitter errupts after watching Pakistan win by 1 wicket vs Afghanistan in a thriller to enter final

Afghanistan almost defended their 130 runs against Pakistan but two sixes from Naseem Shah at the last over saw his team win the match by one wicket on Wednesday, September 7 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam asked Afghanistan to bat first. Afghanistan’s score were restricted to just 129/6 in 20 overs.
When Pakistan batters walked out, Fazalhaq Farooqi dismissed Azam on golden duck. A run out saw Fakhar Zaman (five runs off nine balls) taking a long walk back to the stadium.
Mohammad Rizwan‘s blade too didn’t talk versus Afghanistan’s vicious bowling attack and he became a victim of Rashid Khan. Rizwan departed after a knock of 20 runs off 26 balls.
But Iftikar Ahmed and Shadab Khan steadied Pakistan’s innings. Ahmed scored 30 runs off 33 balls with two fours but in the sixteenth over, Fareed Ahmed trapped him with a short and slower delivery. Ahmed generated all his power behind his attempted pull shot but failed and gave his wicket to Ibrahim Zadra at deep mid-wicket.
While Shadab played a kncok of 36 runs offf 26 balls with a four and three sixes. Rashid dismissed him the full ball and Shadab attempted to heave it but only managed a top edge. The ball flied towards backward square leg and Azmatullah Omarzi took the catch over his head.
Asif Ali played a quick knock of 16 runs off eight balls, tried to win the match for Pakistan when eights wickets were down but Fareed made him his another victim. Ali bat top-edged the ball and Karim Janat at short fine leg grabbed it.
12 runs were needed from seven balls and only one wicket was left. Naseem Shah entered the field and the two sixes he smashed saw the entire energetic Pakistani players running all the way to Naseem, their hero, for they had won the match by a fine margin while Afghanistani players were seen with heavy faces because with this loss, their stint in Asia Cup 2022 also ended.
