Umesh Yadav was a part of India’s lethal pace attack for 12 years, being one of the fastest around. He is known for his lethal pace, followed by his amazing skill to move the ball both ways. Yadav played 57 Tests for India, before being dropped from the team. 

Yadav was a part of India’s Test team during the 2023 WTC final, where India lost by 209 runs. In the tour of West Indies after the finals, he was dropped and Mukesh Kumar was included for the first time in his career.

Being ignored for the South Africa and England series, Yadav uploaded a story on his Instagram account. He posted a cryptic story on his Instagram, where he wrote how stories don’t get over even if the books are covered with dust. 

Yadav is currently playing in the Ranji Trophy for Vidarbha, He has picked up 19 wickets in four matches, with the average of 21.78.

Fans want Umesh Yadav to return to Test team 

Seeing the post by Umesh Yadav, many fans commented how they would love the 36-year old pacer back. They commented how he was much better than Mukesh Kumar, who has not done anything special so far in Test cricket. Many remembered him for his great pace and skills.
