Umran Malik is the new find for Hyderabad who keeps aweing everyone with his 150 kmph past speed. He reached a new milestone by breaking his own record of the fastest delivery in this season by clocking 157 kmph on the fourth delivery of the last ball against Delhi Capitals on Thursday, May 5 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

Unfortunately, his fastest delivery went for a boundary smashed by Rovman Powell who remained unbeaten with his 67 off 35 balls. Also, Umran Malik remained wicketless in his four overs by conceding 52 runs.

Umran Malik had created a record earlier by delivering the fastest ball to Chennai Super Kings’ MS Dhoni at 154 kmph at the MCA Stadium in Pune. He bowled 154.8 kmph to David Warner and later in the match he threw the record-breaking speed.

He recently bagged his maiden five-wicket haul against Gujarat Titans with the figures of 5/25, which is also the best bowling figure so far in this season. However, their side ended up on the losing side. He had also bagged a 4-fer by conceding 28 runs against Punjab Kings.

Talking about the match, at the time when this article is written, SRH have scored 157/6 and they need 51 runs in 17 balls. DC have set a huge total of 208 with the brilliant games from David Warner and Rovman Powell.

David Warner smacked an unbeaten 92 runs in 58 deliveries. His power hitting includes 12 fours and 3 sixes with a brilliant strike rate of 158.62.

While Rovman Powell showed off his Caribbean power by banging 3 fours and 6 sixes while scoring 67 in 35 deliveries. He slammed his 50 in 30 balls. Both the batsmen had formed a solid 122-run stand for the fourth wicket.
