Former India pacers Ishant Sharma and Zaheer Khan have often made headlines during their playing days with their exploits with the ball. Both of them are currently doing the job of the commentator in the ongoing second Test of India versus West Indies at the Port of Spain in Trinidad.

As they were doing the commentary, JioCinema showed the stats of their Test careers and surprisingly, they looked the same in every aspect of their bowling. Both of them scalped 311 wickets with 11 fifer and one 10-wicket haul.

Both of them also scalped 104 wickets in India and 207 wickets in overseas matches. These stats amused the fans so much that they started expressing how surprised they are.

Zaheer Khan played 92 Test matches for India and took retirement from international cricket in 2017. On the other hand, Ishant Sharma has 105 Test caps to his name and played his last Test in 2021. The 34-year-old still hasn’t bid farewell to cricket. In the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL), he played for the Delhi Capitals (DC).

Talking about the match between India and West Indies, India have posted 438 runs in their first innings and bundled out the hosts for 255 runs. Later, Rohit Sharma and Co. scored 181 for two wickets and declared their second innings.

West Indies need 289 runs in 98 overs (at the time of writing this article). They have scored 76 runs for two wickets and Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Jermaine Blackwood are currently at the crease. Rain halted the match for a couple of hours and also this match is heading toward a draw. If this match ends in a draw, India will win the series 1-0.
