To those who don’t know, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a huge fan of legendary Bollywood singer Kishore Kumar. Time and again Dhoni has expressed his love for Kumar’s songs and has even tried singing a few of them. Dhoni’s association with “Mai Pal do Pal Ka Shayar” is not a mystery.
The former India captain used the same song when he announced his retirement from international cricket. Dhoni was also once recorded singing this song on stage.
MS Dhoni has also tried singing “Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye”.
Talking about Dhoni’s cricketing career, the 42-year-old bid adieu to top-flight cricket in 2020. However, Dhoni is still an active cricketer as he leads Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL. He recently led CSK to their fifth IPL title in IPL 2023. While Dhoni’s participation in IPL 2024 is still not confirmed, there are chances that the CSK captain takes the field for one more season.
