Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has always created headlines due to her alleged connection with India’s star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant. And during one of the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches, a woman holding a placard has gone viral.
Pant had made his first public appearance since his horrible car accident on December 30 last year. Pant, who is a regular captain for the Delhi Capitals, came to watch DC’s match against defending champions Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
Later, Urvashi shared a picture of a woman holding a placard on her which read: “Thank God Urvashi is not here.” Reacting to the placard, Urvashi responded: “Why?” on her social media posts. The screengrab shared by Urvashi also featured a cropped image of Pant watching DC’s match against GT. Only a part of his white T-shirt is visible but not his face.
In that match, Delhi posted 162/8 after being asked to bat first. Later, with Sai Sudharsan’s unbeaten 62 and David Miller’s unbeaten 31, Gujarat chased down the target easily.

Cricket fans have often criticized her for being an attention seeker. The saga started when in an interview Urvashi claimed a Mr. RP called her multiple times, but she couldn’t respond as she was tired. Pant took to his Instagram story to slam the actress before deleting it a few minutes later. Urvashi also responded to it, calling Pant “Chhotu Bhaiya”.
Since then, Urvashi has made headlines for attending matches in the stadium. She was present at the stadium when India locked horns with arch-rival Pakistan in the Asia Cup last year. Following Pant’s accident, she posted an image on Instagram with the caption: “Praying” along with a heart, a white dove, and a few stars emoticons.
The 29-year-old also posted an image of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. It was shared shortly after Pant was airlifted there from Max Hospital in Dehradun for further treatment.
In 2018 there were rumors that Pant was in a relationship with Urvashi. However the 24-year-old put an end to them when he declared that he is in a relationship with Isha Negi. Rumors also claimed he even blocked Urvashi on WhatsApp.
