Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best spinners in the world and a must to have in all formats. His ability to spin the ball at high speeds is one many batters struggle against. One of his best attributes is his ability to finish overs quickly. The left-arm spinner once completed an over in 64 seconds.

Ravindra Jadeja‘s ability to finish overs quickly troubled a couple of Royal Challengers Bengaluru batters in Chennai on Friday (March 22). With his short run up, he did not give many RCB batters time to prepare themselves for the next delivery.

Bowling in the 11th over, he bowled the 2nd ball to Cameron Green. Green blocked it and it went straight to Jadeja. The all rounder picked up the ball and acted like he was going to hit Virat Kohli. He then returned to his run-up, ready to bowl in less than 5 seconds. This irked Kohli who shouted “Abey saans to lene de usko. (Let him breathe for a moment.)

Rachin Ravindra and Ajinkya Rahane’s teamwork gets Virat Kohli out 

Virat Kohli was in a tough spot while batting in the first innings against Chennai Super Kings. They lost their first three wickets in the powerplay thanks to some excellent bowling by Mustafizur Rahman and Deepak Chahar. By the 10th over, they managed only 75 runs.

After an over by Jadeja where Cameron Green and Kohli managed only one run, Kohli decided to attack Rahman. Bowling a slower ball, Rahman hit the good length. Kohli tried shuffling across and depositing the ball over midwicket. But a brilliant fielding effort got him out. 

Unable to clear the boundary, Kohli was caught by Ajinkya Rahane. As he dived, he realized he was too close to the boundary line. He threw it to Rachin Ravindra nearby and the Indian star had to depart for only 21 off 20.
