India’s batting stalwart Virat Kohli is known for his aggression on the field. But that is reserved for his opponents. Kohli’s teammates get to see the jovial and fun-loving part of the batter who does weird things on the field. While most of the time Kohli is captured fooling around with Shubman Gill, a recent clip shows him having fun with Hardik Pandya.

As India gear up to take on West Indies in the first ODI of the three-match series on Thursday, the Men in Blue sweat it out in the nets. It was then Kohli did a weird dance step while batting against Hardik Pandya.

As the pacer bowled a delivery way outside the off-stump, Kohli threw his bat at it. The batter managed a good connection and hence the ball traveled quickly. Pandya, meanwhile, stopped in his follow-through and stared at Kohli for a while. The batter in reply pulled out a weird dance step probably indicating that it would have been a four.

As the video went viral, fans were quick to react. Most of them could not stop laughing at Kohli’s weird dance steps.

Now, coming to the ODI series, the three matches are crucial for India as they kick-start their preparations for the ODI World Cup later this year. Although West Indies have failed to qualify for the quadrennial showpiece event, India will look to make the most of this opportunity.

In the absence of a few key players, Rohit Sharma will have a chance to test the bench strength and get the young guns ready for the big event. While young players have a chance to impress the captain and coach Rahul Dravid, Kohli will look to get into the groove and spend as much time as possible in the middle.

The 34-year-old also has a chance to achieve a few milestones in his already-legendary ODI career.
