Michael Clarke wants Virat Kohli to score a duck against Australia

Former Australian captain Michael Clarke doesn’t want Virat Kohli to score more than zero runs against Australia in the 2023 ODI World Cup. Clarke, in an interview with Indian journalist Boria Majumder, on the latter’s show Backstage with Boria, cheekily said that he wants the talismanic Indian batter to walk back to the dugout for a duck in India’s first match of the tournament against Australia.

Clarke also wishes to see India and Australia reach the final but doesn’t want Kohli to score even one run there. However, the 2015 World Cup-winning captain wants the 34-year-old to slam multiple centuries against other teams. However, Kohli, in the World Cup opener smashed 85 runs, helping India from a precarious situation and his partnership with KL Rahul drove India to victory by six wickets.
