Virat Kohli parts ways with long-standing manager and Cornerstone founder Bunty Sajdeh after Cricket World Cup 2023
Though the reason for the split up is unknown, reports say Kohli is in the process of building his own company.

After the conclusion of the 2023 ODI World Cup, there have been reports that Virat Kohli has parted ways with his long-standing manager, Bunty Sajdeh. Sajdeh founded the talent management company Cornerstone and worked for Kohli for more than a decade. The reason behind their split up is not known yet.
Cornerstone also worked for other cricketers, like Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Ajinkya Rahane, and others. However, as per rumors, the company was taking care mostly of Kohli’s brand value and interests, which is why the above mostly mentioned cricketers parted ways with the company.

India started their campaign in the 2023 ODI World Cup on a strong note and continued playing formidable cricket throughout the group stage and semifinals. However, they faced a heartbreaking defeat in the final to Australia.
Putting 240 runs on the scoreboard, India couldn’t defend the total and the Aussies chased it down with the help of Travis Head’s century to win the match by six wickets. Kohli scored 54 runs in the final.
After the match, he was awarded the Player of the Tournament trophy for scoring the most runs. In 11 matches, Kohli scored a record 765 runs, which is also the most runs scored in a single edition in the history of the World Cup.
