India’s batting stalwart Virat Kohli’s bromance with Shubman Gill is not unknown to anyone. The two are seen goofing around all the time. While Kohli keeps teasing Gill, the younger batter enjoys the banter with his idol. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill also share a lot of mutual respect. While Gill keeps on saying that he grew up watching Kohli bat, the senior pro calls Gill “Sitaara”.
Now, as Virat Kohli notched up his 76th International century on Friday during the second Test between India and West Indies, the 34-year-old imitated Gill’s famous century celebration where the batter takes a bow after reaching the milestone.
After Kohli brought up his ton, he took off his helmet and raised his bat to acknowledge the applause from the crowd and his teammates. Kohli then took a bow just like Gill does while looking at the dressing room and grinning ear to ear.
