“Life is hard!”-Fans mock as Virat Kohli’s bad form continues; gets out for a golden duck for the 3rd time vs SRH
Virat Kohli
This IPL has seen the consistent bad forms of its very top players in the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Kane Williamson. From getting out without touching the ball for golden ducks or struggling to even make it to half-centuries, this IPL is surely not for these two veterans.
And the same bad form of Virat Kohli continued in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday, May 8 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Opening the match alongside Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli was trapped by Jagadeesha Suchith on the very first ball of the innings. Suchith delivered a full ball, from round the wicket and down the leg side. Virat Kohli leaned a bit and flicked it straight to the short mid-wicket where Kane Williamson grabbed it. Virat Kohli must be thinking it happened again and why it is happening as he walked back with a smile on his face.

Virat Kohli gone, but still RCB score big
There was a time when the terrific trio of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and, AB de Villiers were the most dependable batmen for RCB. But even though Virat Kohli’s form faltered again, it didn’t stop other RCB batsmen to go for big runs. Du Plessis yet again played a half-century knock after scoring an unbeaten 73 runs in 50 balls by smashing 8 fours and 2 sixes. Rajat Patidar missed his half-century by two runs after getting dismissed by Suchith.
Glenn Maxwell had scored 33 off 24 runs and it was Dinesh Karthik who played an incredible knock an unbeaten 30 in just 8 balls by smacking 4 sixes and a four.
At last, RCB were able to set a huge target of 192/3 in their 20 overs. At the time when this article is written, SRH have already lost 7 wickets while scoring 114 in 16 overs.
