“Was that Misbah-Ul-Haq with Dua Lipa?”- Albanian singer’s latest Instagram post causes stir among cricket fans

Albanian singer Dua Lipa’s latest Instagram post has left netzines baffled. As the famous singer shared a picture with a male friend of hers, cricket fans were left shocked as the person in the picture looked like former Pakistan captain Misbah-Ul-Haq. The singer posted a series of photos on her Instagram from her vacation with her beau Romain Gavras. However, Lipa’s French boyfriend Romain Gavras’ uncanny resemblance with former Pakistani cricketer Misbah-Ul-Haq left netizens baffled.

Romain Gavras is a French filmmaker who debuted with Lipa at the Red Carpet of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. While Misbah is nowhere near the scene, netizens assumed it was Misbah with Dua Lipa in the picture.

Former Pakistan skipper Misbah Ul Haq retired from cricket in 2017 and served as Pakistan’s head coach from 2019 to 2021 and Chief selector. He led Pakistan to a win in the 2012 Champions Trophy final.

Dua Lipa’s boyfriend mistook for Misbah-Ul-Haq

In the photo posted by Dua Lipa’s Instagram, the angle of the click made Romain look very similar to Misbah Ul Haq’s appearance. This resemblance between Lipa’s boyfriend and the former Pak captain got some hilarious reactions from the fans. Take a look at some of the reactions from Pakistani fans on Twitter.
