In the past few days, many documents regarding sex offender Jeffery Epstein were made public. Names like Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, Michael Jackson, Donald Trump and surprisingly Stephen Hawking were mentioned in the documents. While Trump was not accused of any sexual misconduct, the remaining were named in having illicit relations with minors. All of the illegal relations they had occurred on Epstein’s private islands in the Caribbean.
In the past few days, former Pakistan captain and Prime Minister, Imran Khan, was accused by a Twitter user of being a visitor of the island. The reasoning the man used was of Khan being photographed with Ghislain Maxwell, an associate of Epstein and a video. The video was of Wasim Akram recounting a story of his captain.
In the video, Akram recounted how Khan took him and his teammates to a nightclub, but only drank milk because he didn’t drink alcohol. Later he took his teammates to a female friend’s island, which they traveled to by plane. Khan went into the house for an hour, while everyone stayed outside. The poster claimed the female friend in question was Maxwell and the Island was Epstein’s. When Wasim Akram found the post, he felt offended. He called out the lies and called the poster a “muppet.”
Did Imran Khan actually visit Jeffrey Epstein’s island?
The possibility of Imran Khan visiting the island seems unlikely. The cricketer retired in 1992, after winning the 1992 ODI World Cup, while Jeffery Epstein purchased the island 6 years later. Along with that none of his islands had any runways for planes to land. His names weren’t mentioned in the 1200+ documents related to his case as well.
Although Khan isn’t a sex offender, he is in jail for corruption charges. Along with that, he is accused of sharing state secrets during his time as the Pakistan Prime Minister.
