Zimbabwe’s Ryan Burl smashed Bangladesh spinner Nasum Ahmed completely during the third T20I on Tuesday, August 3 at the Harare Sports Club. Burl scored 34 runs in a single over by hitting 6,6,6,6,4,6.
Nasum came to bowl the 15th over and Burl’s at that time read 9 runs off 14 balls and the other batter was Luke Jongwe. Zimbabwe were tethering at 76/6 at the end of 14 overs. But the 15th over changed everything.
The first ball off Nasum had gove for a six over his head. He then dragged his length back but the second ball had gone like the first one. The third ball cleared the boundry easily when it was smashed towards mid-wicket region.
With three sixes in a row, Burl smacked another one over the mid-wicket region and the fifth went for a four. Now, Nasum tried to change his line and he bowled the delivery outside off-stump. But still, Burl smashed the last ball for six anyway over the cover region and so 34 runs was scored in a single over.

Burl scored his half-century and finished the innings with 54 runs off just 28 balls with two fours and six sixes. Thanks to that over, the host who were struggling to get past 130, finished with 156/8 in their alloted 20 overs.

Bowlers, Ryan Burls star as Zimbabwe defeats Bangladesh for the 1st time in T20I series
Ryan Burl and Luke Jongwe had stitched a crucial 79-run partnership and they defeated Bangladesh by 10 runs. The host’s bowlers then did the rest of the work by restricting Bangladesh to 146/8. Zimbabwe won the three-match T20I series by 2-1.
