WATCH: Avesh Khan claps his hands to give a fiery send-off to Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli and Avesh Khan
Lucknow Supergiants fast bowler Avesh Khan sent Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli by clapping his hands on Wednesday, May 25 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in the IPL eliminator.
The RCB star Virat Kohli got off to a blistering start but when it looked he would play another big knock, a ball from fast bowler Avesh Khan gave a much needed breakthrough. He produced a short one and Kohli unleashed an uppercut. Even though the ball had connected properly and it looked like it would clear the boundary, it went straight to Mohsin Khan who caught it comfortably.
Kohli was in disbelief and he stayed at the crease for a few seconds but Avesh Khan started clapping a few times to send-off Kohli. Kohli walked back after scoring 24 runs off 23 balls including two boundaries.
