Shahid Kapoor celebrated the end of a hectic promotional campaign for his upcoming film, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ by sharing a hilarious reel on Instagram. Kapoor channeled his inner foodie by recreating the viral Virat Kohli video.

During a virtual conversation with Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri, Kohli revealed what he would eat for one day without stressing much about hitting the gym the next day, and without torturing himself physically and mentally because of that cheat day. Chhetri had asked the Indian cricketer this question and later advised him to take at least a day off to enjoy all the foods he mentioned.

And now Kapoor used Kohli’s voice for his latest reel, revealing what all he would eat now that the promotional campaign is finally over. Holding a bat, Kapoor paced his room and made funny expressions while mimicking Kohli and shared the reel with the caption: “Promotions khatam hone ke baad waali feeling (The feeling after promotions are done).

Daal makhani khaaunga, paneer khurchan khaaunga, garlic naan khaunga (I will deal makhani, panner khurchan, and garlic naan).

This break from an important series triggered mixed reactions. While many backed the 35-year-old for prioritizing his private life, he received some criticism as well.

Former England skipper Nasser Hussain has no problem with Kohli withdrawing from the England Tests. But he also thinks that Kohli not playing in the “special series” is not just a blow for India and the series but for world cricket.
