The commentary box at the Edgbaston cricket ground in the India vs England rescheduled fifth Test turned blue to support the Bob Willis Foundation, a charity set after the passing away of the former English fast bowler.
The commentators had dressed up in blue blazers and lines up for a group photograph, which was shared by Ian Ward and Ravi Shastri. To everyone’s surprise, Shastri’s picture was different than Ward’s. Shastri didn’t include Nasser Hussain.
But it was later revealed on Sky’s coverage that it was all the doings of Kevin Pietersen. Pietersen had cropped Hussain out of the photo which Shastri posted later. Once Hussain knew what actually happened, all the commentators had a hearty laugh about it.
Hussain gave a hilarious reaction when he said, “cropped out of Ravi Shastri’s life, cancelled.” “You put your arm around me yesterday and said we are getting on well and that we’ve put everything behind us, obviously not.” Hussain the added, “He has tagged everyone here apart from me,” joked Hussain.

“No better person to take over after me that Rahul”- Ravi Shastri
Ravi Shastri enjoyed a successful tenure as India’s head coach as under him, India had managed to win two Test series in Australia and they were also leading the series in England. But they failed have a successful ICC tournament. Ravi Shastri spoke in detail about his tenure and how Rahul Dravid is the right choice after him.
“No better person to take over after me than Rahul, I got that job by mistake which I told Rahul. I was in the commentary box; I was asked to go there and I did my bit. But Rahul is a guy who has come through the system, he has done the hard yards. He has been the coach of the U-19 team and he has taken over this Indian team and I think he will enjoy it once the team starts responding.”
