Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar married long time girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj in a lavish wedding at the Jaypee Palace hotel in Agra on June 1.

During IPL 2021, Deepak had proposed Jaya in the stands with a ring and a surprised Jaya immediately said yes to the marriage. This picture had stormed the internet with congratulations pouring from everywhere.

After the wedding the reception ceremony will take place in ITC Maurya Hotel in Delhi. MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma and top Chennai Super Kings stars are expected to attend the ceremony. Deepak Chahar would have played for CSK this year but an injury had kept him out of the whole tournament. It had affected the four-time IPL champions without availing services from their key bowler. He was at the National Cricket Acedemy in Bengaluru at the time for his rehabilitation process. He was re-signed by the franchise for a large sum of INR 14 crores in the mega-auctions in Bengaluru.

Deepak’s cousin Rahul Chahar shared their pictures on social media to give a glimpse of their wedding to the fans.

During the Haldi ceremony, Deepak Chahar was in a jovial mood as he was seen dancing while Rahul and other friends were appling tumeric paste on his face.
