Naveen-ul-Haq was considered as one of the least liked cricketers in India after his scuffle with Virat Kohli during the 2023 Indian Premier League. One of the things fans were excited about was for Kohli and Naveen to face off during the World Cup, but instead the two patched things up. Since then he has become a fan favorite. In Afghanistan’s match against England, fans kept cheering his name.
In a new video released, Naveen was fielding on the boundary and the crowd kept chanting his name. He looked back at the crowd smiling and acknowledged them by showing his thumbs up.
Ever since Naveen and Kohli hugged each other in Delhi, fans have responded more positively to the Afghanistan pacer. Naveen will be playing his final World Cup this year as he had announced he is retiring from the format after the tournament.

Arijit Singh proclaims love for Virat Kohli during performance, Kohli responds
During the pre-match ceremony conducted before the clash between India and Pakistan, Arijit Singh was performing on stage while both teams were training on the ground. Along with Arijit, singers like Sukhwinder SIngh, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shankar Mahadevan performed.
Midway during his performance, Arijit shouted out to Kohli, “I love you, Virat.” In the viral clip, Kohli was heard Arijit proclaiming his love for him and responded back with a wave.
The pre-match ceremony was under a lot of scrutiny ever since it was announced. Along with that, the ceremony was not televised, which made many fans unhappy as some wanted to watch the show.
