WATCH: Was Sanju Samson involved in suspicious act during Rohit Sharma’s dismissal? Fresh video reveals truth
A fresh video has started circulating on social media today which will prove that Samson was far behind the stumps and the ball only removed the bails.

Sanju Samson, Rohit Sharma
Yesterday, during the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), an incident sparked controversy with RR skipper Sanju Samson becoming a target of ugly criticism. MI fans accused Samson of intentionally dislodging the bails to dismiss Rohit Sharma. They shared images captured from different angles to prove it; however, a fresh video emerged which will quash the accusations.
The incident took place in the second over, delivered by Sandeep Sharma. Rohit tried to defend the ball but missed it completely, and it went on to dislodge the bails. Rohit didn’t take DRS nor did the umpire go upstairs to confirm whether Rohit was being bowled out or not.
But moments after Rohit’s wicket, fans started sharing footage of the dismissal which showed the ball, after hitting the bails and leaving it unmoved, went straight to Samson’s gloves, and only after this, the bails fell off. Owing to this, MI fans, who wanted to see Rohit play a brilliant innings on his birthday, started slamming Samson for being involved in a suspicious act.
A fresh video has started circulating on social media today which will prove that Samson was far behind the stumps and the ball only removed the bails and not his gloves. Rohit departed after scoring just three runs from five balls.

Mumbai Indians, with contributions from Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, and later an unbeaten 62-run stand between Tilak Varma and Tim David, pull off a sensational victory over the visitors at the Wankhede Stadium.
In the last over, when 17 runs were needed, David sent three balls outside the park off consecutive deliveries of Jason Holder to secure the victory. He remained unbeaten on 45 off just 14 balls.
