Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan‘s statement in the promo of Koffee With Karan season eight sent social media into a frenzy. Sara opened up about the rumors about her alleged relationship with Indian cricketer Shubman Gill. Sara was spotted having dinner at a restaurant with Gill.

Sara revealed that she is not dating Gill and that people have been linking Gill with the wrong ‘Sara’. For the unversed, Gill is rumored to have been in a relationship with Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar. However, they have never made an official announcement about the same. The KWK promo added fuel to the rumor and netizens started saying that though there was a lot of evidence in the past, Sara Ali Khan’s statement confirmed that Gill is indeed dating Sara Tendulkar.

And Sara’s reply was:

You have got the wrong Sara guys! Sara ka Sara duniye galat Sara ke peechhe para hai. (The world is after the wrong Sara).

Virat Kohli silenced the crowd when they teased Shubman Gill with Sara Tendulkar’s name.

Sara Tendulkar marked her presence on two occasions during India’s match in the state of Maharashtra in the ongoing 2023 ODI World Cup. In Pune, when India locked horns with Bangladesh, Sara was spotted in the stand. And then at the Wankhede Stadium during the match against Sri Lanka, Sara, in viral videos could be seen visibly shocked after Gill missed scoring his century.

In Mumbai, the crowd started teasing Shubman Gill with chants of “Hamari bhabhi kaisi ho? Sara bhabhi jaisi ho”. During India’s fielding, Virat Kohli’s reaction caught the attention of the fans as he pointed first toward Gill and then at the crowd. Fans believe Kohli was silencing the crowd for teasing Gill during the match.
