MS Dhoni filed a lawsuit in Ranchi court against Aarka Sports‘ Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwash, alleging he was duped of Rs 15 crore via a breach of contract which was created for establishing cricket academies. As per the contract, the firm was set to pay a stipulated amount and share the profit, which they did not pay. Dhoni and Aarka Sports collaborated in 2017 to set up cricket academies globally.
Now Aarka Sports’ CEO, Diwakar, shared his side of the story by quashing the cheating allegations, blaming Dhoni for tarnishing his image, and also slamming him for his unwillingness to pay Rs 5 crore to the company. Diwakar on 99News news channel said that he had no idea about the court disputes and only came to know about the allegations through media reports.
I came to know through the media that I had been accused of cheating involving 15 crore rupees. If I were to ask for 5 crores from you, and you lack the willingness to provide it, then it's understandable that you might claim 15 crores from me just to silence me.Diwakar told 99News
