Former India batter Gautam Gambhir slammed Ravi Shastri for claiming that India is the best team in the world without knowing the records. In an interview, Gambhir said Shastri did not know records or follow any previous series and because of not winning many matches overseas, he feels India is the best team.

Gambhir added that India under Shastri won matches in India but not enough overseas. Shastri was India’s head coach from 2017 to 2021 and had claimed that the Men in Blue won more overseas matches than any other Indian side in the last 15-20 years.
