The Indian skipper recently launched his cricket academy in the United States. This is his first step toward the development of the youth who aspire to be future cricketers. The academy is in California and has been named CricKingdom.

Cricket started growing in the US after the advent of Major League Cricket (MLC). The first season has been successfully held in 2023 and MI New York (another team of the Mumbai Indians franchise) clinched the title.

Meanwhile, this year is quite crucial for Rohit Sharma as he will try to emulate Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni by leading the Men in Blue to their third ODI World Cup title. If India wins the coveted cup, then Rohit can join a few players who have won ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, and Champions Trophy.
