WATCH: Marcus Stoinis left shocked after Ravindra Jadeja cleans him up with a ripper, reaction goes viral
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter Marcus Stoinis was left shell-shocked as Ravindra Jadeja clean-bowled him during his team’s match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Wednesday. As Jadeja’s delivery turned a long way, from outside of the leg stump to uproot Stoinis’ left pole, the LSG could not fathom the sharp turn the CSK spinner generated off the deck. Stoinis was seen inquiring with the umpire about if the ball had hit the stumps or not.
On the fifth ball of the seventh over of the LSG innings, Ravindra Jadeja bowled a loopy off-spinner in the leg-stump line. Stoinis prodded forward and played an on-drive keeping in mind the turn on offer from the pitch. However, the ball spun a long way and easily beat Stoinis’ outside edge and hit the top of the off stump. CSK players started celebrating while Stoinis stood there in disbelief trying to figure out what exactly happened.
With Stoinis wearing a surprised look after his dismissal, the video of the same started doing the rounds on the internet. While some could not stop themselves from praising Jadeja for producing the ball of the season, a few fans enjoyed Stoinis’ reaction.

Ayush Badoni saved the day for Lucknow

The youngster scored a half-century (51* off 33 balls) and saved the day for the hosts. Badoni played some breathtaking shots in the middle and helped his team cross the 100-run mark which looked a distant dream at one point.
