WATCH: Mohammed Siraj knocks over Jos Buttler with absolute gem of a delivery, fans react
Mohammed Siraj has developed a habit of stunning batters with an absolute peach of deliveries, especially while bowling with the new ball. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer proved it once again on Sunday when he knocked over Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler with a gem of a delivery. Siraj cleaned up Buttler with a cross-seam delivery that came in sharply.
After RCB batters put 189/9 on the board while batting first, the hosts needed a good start and the right-arm pacer did exactly that. As Yashaswi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler came to open the innings, Siraj took the new ball and started nailing his length deliveries as usual. However, Jaiswal was finding it easy to rotate the strike and that brought Butter into focus.
While the RR opener easily defended the first delivery, Buttler could not comprehend what was coming next. Siraj bowled a cross-seam delivery on a good length and Buttler played for outswing. But the ball came back sharply instead and hit the timber. With the sight of the middle stump getting uprooted, Siraj was nothing less but delighted.
Meanwhile, the fans also rejoiced about this special wicket from the RCB pacer. Many looked impressed with Siraj’’s ability to take wickets every time he bowls with the new ball.

Jaiswal and Padikkal frustrate RCB!
After Buttler got out, Devdutt Padikkal joined hands with Yashaswi Jaiswal in the middle and the two youngsters stitched a quick partnership to bail RR out of trouble. While Jaiswal used his feet to perfection and played against spin with ease, Padikkal took charge against the quick bowlers. The latter also completed his half-century off 30 balls. However, the 98-run stand was finally broken when David Willey got Padikkal caught at long-on.
