Mahendra Singh Dhoni is known as one of the smartest men in the world of cricket. His tactical awareness and game sense is regarded as one of the best in the world. His cool stature and calmness in tough situations have gotten India and Chennai Super Kings many victories. It now looks like Dhoni’s knowledge isn’t just limited to the cricket field.

In a recent event, he was seen giving relationship advice to the audience. Dhoni told the crowd, “If you find someone that you are really happy with, please do get married.” He then turned to the bachelors in the crowd and decided to clear their misconception. He added to his statement, “Yeh mat sochna ki meri wali alag hai” (Please don’t think your partner is different). The crowd was left in splits, with a loud laughter being heard from the audience.

A lot of netizens on X (formerly Twitter) also found his knowledge useful. Many were surprised with the former Indian captain sharing such advice as well. Many agreed with his views, while one called him attention seeker for saying that line.

Will MS Dhoni play in the 2024 IPL?

Many fans and analysts believed that the 2023 Indian Premier League will be MS Dhoni’s final time playing professional cricket. The 42-year-old had retired from international cricket just 3 years earlier and played his last international match 4 years earlier.

MS Dhoni captained Chennai Super Kings to their 5th IPL title and equalized with Rohit Sharma for being the most successful IPL Captain, winning five titles each. In the post match presentation of the 2023 IPL Finals, Dhoni revealed his plan to play the next year as well. In that same event, he said he has retired from international cricket but not from IPL yet.

MS Dhoni had played the entire tournament with a knee injury and underwent a surgery to help him recover from the same injury. It is not sure as of now if MS Dhoni will participate in the 2024 IPL, but clips of him training and working out have been seen.
