Virat Kohli learns “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” steps from Shah Rukh Khan
A few days ago fans were tweeting horrible things about Virat Kohli and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The fans of the respective stars wanted to prove who among these two is the global superstar. But now, another video related to the two has gone viral.
To encourage his team, Khan attended Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) match against RCB on Thursday (April 8) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. RCB were humiliated by the KKR by 81 runs after the former failed to chase down a huge 205-run target.
After the match, Khan was in a mood to celebrate so he started grooving to his blockbuster film Pathaan’s song “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” with the players. In the viral video, Kohli appeared to be injured as he had bandages on his leg. But the moment Khan came to meet him, both embraced each other with a hug. The Dilwale actor then grabbed the former India skipper’s hand and tried to make him dance to the song.
Watch the video below:
As far as the match is concerned, Shardul Thakur‘s awestruck knock of 68 runs from just 29 balls, Rinku Singh‘s 46 off 33, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz‘s 57 off 44 took KKR to 204/7 despite at one point, they were reeling at 89/5. RCB lost the wicket of Virat Kohli first and from then, they never recovered. Faf du Plessis scored the most with 23 runs. KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy completed his four-wicket haul for 15 runs.
