MS Dhoni is recovering from knee surgery
MS Dhoni was last seen on the cricket field at the 2023 IPL final against Gujarat Titans (GT). The rain-interrupted match saw Yellow Jersey equaling Mumbai Indians‘ (MI) record of lifting five trophies. Throughout IPL 2023 MS Dhoni was seen struggling due to his knee niggle but he did not miss a single match.
After confirming that he will try to play in the next season at the post-match ceremony, he underwent knee surgery. Recently, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan revealed that ‘Captain Cool’ had never complained about his knee issue.
“Till the final, he never complained about his knee to anybody. Though everyone knew, and you would’ve seen him struggling while running, he never complained even once. After the final, he said, ‘Okay, I’ll have surgery,” Kasi Viswanathan told ESPNCricinfo.
