Rajasthan Royals is locking-horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday, May 27 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In the match, RCB’s Glenn Maxwell’s catch was splendidly taken by Obed McCoy.
In the 13.6 overs, Trent Boult bowled a short ball around leg and Maxwell hung on the back foot to pull but it took the bottom half of his bat and flied towards fine leg. Obed McCoy snapped it inches above the ground to sent back the ‘Big Show’ to the pavilion. Maxwell had scored 24 off 13 balls with a four and 2 sixes.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and chose to bowl first. RCB, with the help of Rajat Patidar’s fifty, set a target of 157/8 in 20 overs.
Rajat Patidar had scored 58 off 42 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes but he walked back to the dressing room after Ravichandran Ashwin sent him back. Faf du Plessis played a slow knock of 25 off 27 balls with 3 fours while Dinesh Karthik‘s bat remained silent as he got dismissed after scoring 6 off 7 balls. Shahbaz Ahmed scored 12 runs off 8 to take RCB’s innings to 157.
